Lactoferrin

LactoFerrin Category Banner

Lactoferrin is a naturally occurring protein found in milk and colostrum that helps support the body’s natural immune defenses and healthy inflammatory response.

Research has shown that bovine lactoferrin (bLf) may support bladder and urinary tract health. A 2022 study demonstrated its ability to inhibit E. coli-induced cystitis, while a 2024 study involving IC/BPS patients reported significant improvements in urinary symptoms, pain, inflammation, and Hunner’s lesions.

We offer this high-quality product in the hope that it provides meaningful support for those seeking a natural approach to bladder, urinary, and immune health.

Choosing between a lactoferrin capsule or powder? We carry a powder version for patients who have difficulty swallowing capsules. However, stomach acid can degrade a substantial portion of the powder before absorption, making it significantly less effective than the capsule form.
